Mobile roaming is a service, offered by Redtouch, that allows you to use your mobile phone abroad. Since Redtouch does not provide its services outside Malta, it has agreements with foreign operators in order to allow you to make and receive calls and text messages, and use other services such as voicemail and data services.

You should be aware that roaming charges apply only when you make and/or receive calls while you are abroad. The charges that apply to roaming calls are different from those that apply when making international calls while in Malta. The European Commission sets ceiling prices to regulate the market within its member countries.
